Drenched!
Somber thoughts
weaved in and out
of speculations and of doubts
Starless skies
in the darkest nights
streams of ribbons from a kite
Flowing winds
fly through the air
with an intense yet unbearable stare
Snowflakes fall
on a summer day
crashing in to the waves
Flightless birds
walk all alone
with a body of broken bones
Screams echo
through the mountain range
feeling lost and estranged

Daddy?
Do you know my daddy?
I heard he lives down South
Do you know my daddy?
I heard we have the same shaped mouth
Do you know my daddy?
I know his name is Joe
Do you know my daddy?
It makes me feel quite low
Do you know my daddy?
He has strawberry blonde hair
Do you know my daddy?
I don't think he really cares
Do you know my daddy?
I'd really like to think he's nice
Do you know my daddy?
But I think his heart is just a block of ice
Do you know my daddy?
Does he smile when he thinks of me
Do you know my daddy?
If he thinks of me at all I'd be as happy as can be
Do you know my daddy?
Is he really, really smart
Do you know my daddy?
Would he only break my heart
Do you know my daddy?
I wander what he's like
Do you know my daddy?
Would he buy me a brand new bike
Do you know my daddy?
I could find him if I dare
Do you know my daddy?
I think he's out there somewhere
